Born in Chattanooga, TN Jillian (Jill) Edwards has held a passion for nonprofit organizations from a young age. Her frequent volunteering led her to earn a degree in Public Administration with a concentration Nonprofit Management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2021. Jill’s passion for advocacy and empowering women of color cultivated her work with multiple nonprofit and charities in Southeast Tennessee, earning her the Ralph Anderson Public Administration Community Engagement Award.
Continuing in advocacy, she began a year of AmeriCorps service as an interventionist, relocating her to New Orleans. She quickly fell in love with the city, and continuously grew interest and appreciation for all the organizations she came across.
