Heather A. Nelson

Heather Nelson is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in nonprofit fund development. She previously held fund development leadership roles at KID smART, NAMI New Orleans, and the LSU Museum of Art. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts History from Tulane University.

With over ten years of experience in the field, Heather has honed her skills in major gift fundraising, grant writing, and campaign management. Her ability to form meaningful connections with has been instrumental in her success in broadening revenue. With a keen understanding of the importance of donor relations and a creative approach in developing strategic plans, Heather has demonstrated time and again that her skills are invaluable to the organizations she serves.
