Grants Associate
The Grants Associate plays a key role by providing essential administrative support to ensure effective program delivery and strong stakeholder engagement. This highly collaborative individual possesses exceptional organizational skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Reporting to the Director of Grantmaking, the Grants Associate provides grantmaking and administrative support to the entire Programs Department and works closely with other Foundation departments to uphold the highest standards of service, stewardship, and program excellence.

Program Officer
The Program Officer plays a key role by leading a diverse programmatic and grantmaking portfolio ensuring effective program delivery and strong stakeholder engagement. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with nonprofit organizations, community leaders, donors, and other stakeholders; assessing community needs and opportunities; managing competitive and strategic grantmaking programs; and monitoring and evaluating funded projects. The Program Officer serves as a key liaison between the Foundation and the community, ensuring that grantmaking is impactful, equitable, and responsive to the region’s needs. This highly collaborative individual possesses exceptional organizational skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Reporting to the Director of Grantmaking, the Program Officer provides grantmaking support to assigned portfolios and works closely with other Foundation departments to uphold the highest standards of service, stewardship, and program excellence.

Nonprofit Leadership & Effectiveness Program Associate
The Nonprofit Leadership & Effectiveness (NLE) Program Associate plays a critical support role in advancing the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s efforts to strengthen the region’s nonprofit sector. This position ensures the efficient delivery of a diverse portfolio of leadership development, skill-building, and capacity-strengthening programs to our region’s nonprofits. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated professional with strong administrative and technical skills and experience in event coordination and project execution. Key responsibilities include managing logistics and communications for events, maintaining accurate data and records, coordinating with nonprofit trainers and consultants, and delivering high-quality support to nonprofit partners. The NLE Program Associate reports to the Director of Nonprofit Leadership and Effectiveness and works closely with colleagues across the Foundation to ensure seamless internal and external coordination.

Digital Communications Officer
The Digital Communications Officer plays a key role in developing and executing the brand strategy and organizational messaging for the Greater New Orleans Foundation. The Digital Communications Officer is thoughtful, collaborative, and creative and has a broad set of skills that will allow for the creation and implementation of the Foundation’s overall communication efforts. Specific skillsets may include experience in public relations, social media management and content creation, graphic design, and website development and management. The Digital Communications Officer is a member of the Communications & Public Affairs Team and reports to the Vice President for Communication & Public Affairs.
