Evaluation is the tool that enables nonprofit organizations to define success and measure results in order to create lasting change. This workshop will provide an overview of what evaluation is and review some of the most common tools used in the field. It will include profiles of two local nonprofits who are using evaluation effectively.
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
- Understand how evaluation can improve their organization’s impact
- Explore how other local nonprofits use evaluation
- Understand basic evaluation concepts, including evaluation plans, logic models, theories of change, and data collection tools
- Learn steps and resources for implementing these tools at their organization
The workshop will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 12 from 10:00 – 12:00 pm via Zoom. The workshop is free, but registration is required. Click here to register. We are proud to present this session in partnership with GC Eval, a network of evaluation practitioners based in the Gulf Coast area.
