10:00 - 12:00 pm
Many organizations are exploring more ways to be equitable in their work. One way to advance equity is through evaluation. This workshop will explore ways that organizations can evaluate whether program delivery and outcomes are equitable by using participatory and culturally responsive evaluation techniques. It would cover trauma informed evaluation, how to collect data in a responsible way and social equity audits.
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
- Understand what equitable evaluation is and why it is important for today’s nonprofits
- Explore ways that evaluation can be conceptualized, implemented, and utilized in a manner that promotes equity
- Learn the characteristics of cross culturally competent evaluators
- Learn about the Equitable Evaluation Framework and utilize it to reflect on your organization’s practices
The workshop will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 26 from 10:00 – 12:00 pm via Zoom. The workshop is free, but registration is required. Click here to register. We are proud to present this session in partnership with GC Eval, a network of evaluation practitioners based in the Gulf Coast area.
