Jointly sponsored by the Cornerstone Council of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, in partnership with the Jewish Endowment Foundation of Louisiana and the New Orleans Estate Planning Council, Kathryn Miree comes to New Orleans next month to give her lecture, Top Ten Charitable Planning Ideas for 2013.
An expert on planned giving, Miree’s lecture answers the most pressing question for professional advisors: “How do you identify charitable giving options that best fit the needs of your clients in this rapidly changing environment?”
Miree, president of Kathryn W. Miree & Associates, Inc., works extensively with professional advisors and families in the management of private foundations, charitable trusts, pooled income funds, gift annuities, and endowments. A nationally recognized speaker and author on nonprofit gift planning and administrative topics, Miree served as president of the National Committee on Planned Giving, president of the Alabama Planned Giving Council, president of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham, and president of the Alabama Bankers Association Trust Division.
The lecture will take place on November 8, 2012 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Pan American Conference Center in the Orleans Room, 601 Poydras Street on the 11th Floor. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am.
