How effective is your advocacy communications strategy?
No matter what kind of social change your organization is working toward, you need a strategic approach to communications. The Greater New Orleans Foundation (Programs and Organizational Effectiveness) in partnership with JPMorgan Chase hosted Holly Minch, founder of Lightbox Collaborative to lead an interactive workshop, featuring the GAME plan model, that guided organizations through the development of an effective communications strategy for their social change efforts.
Participants determined goals, target audiences, effective messages and ways to engage constituents. The materials were used to draft a communications game plan, a clear course of action, and a more effective strategy to help leverage smart communications toward social change goals.
