Flint D. Mitchell, Ph.D.
With over 10 years of health, education, and children and youth nonprofit sector work experience, Flint D. Mitchell, Ph.D. joined the Foundation staff in September 2009. He recently completed a fellowship with the Oak Ridge Institute for Science Education at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where he provided research and technical assistance support within the Division of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances. As a consultant for Baptist Community Ministries Foundation, IMPACT Lake Charles AmeriCorps, the United Negro College Fund, and other nonprofit organizations, he has directed program activities as well as participated in the evaluation of grantmaking strategies. Flint earned his Ph.D. in Health Promotion and Curriculum & Instruction from the University of New Orleans.
