Mr. Reginald (Rick) H. Smith Jr., Chair

Mr. Smith is the President and CEO of Metairie Bank and Trust Company.

Mr. Henry Shane Jr., Co-Chair

Mr. Shane is a founding partner of the New Orleans architecture firm Favrot & Shane Companies, Inc. He has collected over 100 classic cars and displays them at Henry Shane’s Cars of Yesteryears museum in Metairie.

Ms. Pat LeBlanc, Secretary

Ms. LeBlanc is a prominent corporate defense attorney with LeBlanc Butler LLC. In 2004 she was appointed by Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco to serve on the Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission. As an appointee of the Parish President, she has twice chaired Jefferson’s Home Rule Charter Advisory Board.

Mr. Steve Romig, Treasurer

Mr. Romig is a founding partner of the accounting firm Laporte, Sehrt, Romig, Hand.

Mr. David Andignac

Mr. Andignac is the senior vice president for Whitney Bank-New Orleans.

Mr. “Buck”ner Barkley Jr.

Mr. Barckley is the president of the Marrero Land & Improvement Association, Ltd.

Mr. Manuel Blanco

Mr. Blanco is the president & CEO of Atlantis International, Inc. a Metairie company specializing in automotive specialty chemicals. Mr. Blanco also serves on the board of directors for the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Joseph Ewell, Jr.

Mr. Ewell is vice chairman of the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Committee.

Mr. Lucien Gunter

Mr. Gunter is the executive director of the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission.

Mr. Fred Heebe

Mr. Heebe is the founder of Fred Heebe Investments.

Mr. Jim Hudson

Mr. Hudson is the president & CEO of New Orleans-based Omni Bank.

Mr. Ben Louviere

Mr. Louviere is the president of Creole Engineering Sales Co. He is the senior engineer of business development and strategic planning at Waldemar S. Nelson & Company in New Orleans. He also serves on the board of Omni Bank.

Ms. Jackie Madden

Ms. Madden is the president of the Palm Vista Civic Association. She also serves as president for Friends of Jefferson the Beautiful.

The Honorable Edmond Muniz

Mr. Muniz was elected Mayor of Kenner, Lousiana in 2006. He previously served on the Jefferson Parish Council from 1987 through 2003.

The Honorable Newell Normand

Sheriff Normand has been Sheriff of Jefferson Parish since his election in 2007.

Ms. Lynda Nugent Smith

Ms. Smith works with Keller Williams Realty as a risk management broker. She has over 35 years of experience in real estate and was honored as the 2006 REALTOR® of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Realtors.
