The Greater New Orleans Foundation improves the quality of life for all citizens of our area, now and for future generations.  As a catalyst and resource for philanthropy we:

• Demonstrate strategic grantmaking to foster strong leadership and systemic change.
• Build permanent endowments for our community's changing issues and opportunities.
• Serve as a flexible and cost-effective vehicle for philanthropists to invest in their community.

We will exceed our donors' expectations by providing an easy, flexible and effective vehicle for their philanthropic activities and by connecting them to issues and opportunities in the community that they care about.  We will accomplish this by:
