Resources for Nonprofits
The Foundation connects nonprofits to additional resources, from funding opportunities to workshops to helpful research and materials.
Stimulus Package
The passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“ARRA”) offers nonprofit organizations opportunities to acquire desperately needed funding, yet the process may seem daunting. A sense of urgency and lot of research is required. Grants can be obtained from each level of government – local, state, and federal. The pace of grant awards and the application processes will vary across all levels of government. As we access more information, we will share it, but in the meantime, here are some helpful links to get started.

New Orleans Master Plan and Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
The most critical policy decision facing the residents of the City of New Orleans is the approval of the Master Plan and Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. Because of our involvement in the Unified New Orleans Plan (UNOP), we realize that no plan will ever be successful and carry the force of law without the full participation of its constituents. As a nonprofit partner, we encourage you to become involved and participate in a plan that must reflect the diversity, opinions, and wisdom of all its residents.
