The St, Bernard Volunteers for Family and Community has received an Exxon Mobil grant for 2008 and 2009 for our Christmas Tour of Homes. Please let us know when the 2010 grant applications will be ready.

Can a restoration/conservation project of Katrina damaged historical church documents dating from the 1880s be considered an art & culture project for the Selley Foundation?

How can we apply for a Kellogg grant?
Lauren, organizations from Algiers applying to the Exxon Mobil Grant must reside in the class boundaries designated in the settlement. The boundaries consist of the triangle–shaped area starting at the point where the Intercoastal Canal meets the Mississippi River, Northwest along Patterson, South on Kabel Drive and Lennox Boulevard, East on Tullis, following the Intercoastal Waterway back to Patterson.
What parts of Algiers are eligible for the Exxon Mobil Grant?
Lauren: The Exxon Mobil advisory committee meets each summer to establish that year’s deadline. One has not been set up yet, but please sign up for our email newsletter to be kept informed of when the deadline is announced.
I know that the Exxon Mobil grant is given out each year. When is the deadlines for applications? What part of Algiers is eligible for the grant? I had heard that only certain parts of Algiers could apply.

GNOF replies: Due to the overwhelming number of requests we receive, we unfortunately are unable to notify each organization about potential grant opportunities. However, you may check the “Nonprofits” section of our website for up-to-date grant information. Also, please sign-up for our email newsletter.

@monique GNOF replies: Our records indicate that we did not receive any funding applications from any nonprofit organizations located in St. John the Baptist Parish. The Foundation will offer this grantmaking cycle again next year. We encourage you please sign-up for our email newsletter to be notified of 2010 deadlines.

Interested in funding for minority girls mentoring program
Caryn: There’s no set date for ExxonMobil Fund grantmaking, but it usually happens in the late summer/early fall. When the advisory committee for that fund determines an exact date, we’ll post it on this page.
When are applications for the ExxonMobil Fund accepted? Does the deadline change annually, or is it constant?
GNOF replies: Two years ago, we did have a grant cycle that issued grants on beautification projects, but it was a one-time only funding opportunity. There are currently no funding opportunities for such projects.
We are homeowners of Lakewood East Subdivision in New Orleans trying to restore a main entrance sign and brick fence damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Is there any possibility for us to seek your help with regard to our project by December 31, 2009?
