Marco Cocito Monoc on WWL-TV Discussing Gulf Coast Oil Spil Fund

Marco Cocito Monoc, Ph. D., director of regional initiatives, on WWL-TV discussing the Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund.

“The Greater New Orleans Foundation has opened a Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund. In the past, similar efforts have raised millions of dollars for those affected by disaster.”

BP is taking care of all those suffering losses due to the spill, so for now, another charity fund is not needed. Victims shouldn’t be allowed to double dip, and BP would have a valid reason to deny the needs if others are going to take care of them.
