It is with great sadness that we bid a fond farewell to our colleague Ellen Lee who resigned her post at the Greater New Orleans Foundation on August 9th to pursue other opportunities.
Ellen joined the Foundation in February 2008 and served as its interim president & CEO from July 2008 to the beginning of 2009. Since then she has served as GNOF’s senior vice president for programs, managing a busy department with five direct reports. Ellen led the Foundation’s Community Revitalization Fund for five years, a program that rehabilitated and created affordable housing for thousands of families in Orleans Parish. She was instrumental in the design and leadership of many Foundation initiatives.
We wish her well in her new pursuits.
