The Greater New Orleans Foundation is the community foundation serving the 13-parish region of metropolitan New Orleans.

Ensuring a source of healthy food, wholesome after-school activity and awareness of the environment is the goal of the Urban MicroFarm administered and run by the School at Blair Grocery. Founder Nat Turner works in the garden with student, Josh Jones. The students feel so empowered that they renamed the school, “Our” School at Blair Grocery.
