Martha McDermott Landrum

A native of New Orleans, Martha joined the foundation in 2006 and serves as vice president of marketing and communications. The communications department has won seven Wilmer Shields Rich Awards awarded by the Council on Foundations for its website, annual reports, and strategic communications. Prior to joining the Foundation, Martha worked in the public relations department of Peter A. Mayer Advertising in New Orleans doing citywide community relations projects. She has over 20 years of experience in the communications field. Martha has also done large-scale projects for the American Association of Museums and Arts Council of New Orleans. She is a board member of the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children and Poydras Home. She is a former board member of the Contemporary Art Center,  Kingsley House, Louisiana Children’s Museum, Academy of the Sacred Heart,  Junior League of New Orleans, and Friends of the Lafitte Greenway. Martha was a 2012 Young Leadership Council Role Model.
