IMPACT 2011

The ultimate goal of IMPACT 2011 is to create a resilient, sustainable, vibrant, and equitable region in which individuals and families flourish and in which the special character of the New Orleans region and its people is preserved, celebrated, and given the means to develop.

Through IMPACT 2011, the Greater New Orleans Foundation will award approximately $600,000 in grants to organizations serving the Greater New Orleans region. Grants will be awarded in four categories: Arts & Culture, Youth Development, Education, and Health & Human Services.

I know that the IMPACT 2011 grant will fund general operating costs, does this include Capital Campaigns?

Please see the FAQs above. Capital Campaigns are not included in IMPACT funding.

Are the funds from the National Fund for Workforce Solutions (see link below) being disbursed through Impact 2011 or another grant program?

The IMPACT Program is a separate fund from the National Fund for Workforce Solutions. We are in the process of developing guidelines for the Workforce fund.

We are told to fill out the Application Cover Sheet on Adobe Reader, but it comes as a Word document. Any tips?
